 We are a licensed contractor specializing in post frame or commonly know "pole buildings". Sherman Pole Buildings has been raising the standard of pole building construction since the start of the business in 1976.  Our specialty is in residential, commercial, and agricultural post frame buildings.  We can build homes, sheds, airplane hangars, riding arenas, livestock barns, assembly plants, and anything in between.

Every year Sherman Lumber builds over 300 pole buildings in Minnesota, Wisconsin and beyond, for storing everything from farm equipment to antique cars and planes. Additionally, our buildings can be customized for almost any use including residential and commercial. Most styles can be completed in one to seven days.

Sherman Lumber traces its history to 1976 when Andrew Kelling opened the doors to Kelling Construction. Since then we’ve undergone a name change and we’ve expanded our scope. But we remain committed to our old-fashioned values.
